120512 The first TripleED workshop was arranged at the Department of Sociology, Stanford University. Six mountaineers discussed decision-making and risk assessment at high altitudes, and how this may be applied to sea level organisations. Collaboration grant awarded!
301112 TripleED just received a smallish but very important grant for collaboration together with associate professor Geneviève Musca at Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense in France, and Professor Linda Rouleau at HEC Montreal, Canada. In the project we will examine and compare the practice in terms of decisions, leadership and routines in two different non-guided mountaineering expeditions.

221112 Markus convened a session and gave a presentation at the Decision Sciences analysis the other day on the topic of “To cancel or Not to Cancel” on the case of K2 2008.

151012 Markus gave the introductory Keynote to Norways largest project management conference in Oslo on the topic of “The art of turning around”. Afterwards he was interviewed by representatives of Projectplace. This is the outcome.
